"Finding the shine in young minds"
About Zoe
Hi - I'm Zoe. I've worked with children and teens for nearly 20 years and am passionate about child and adolescent mental and emotional wellbeing.
Having worked in education in the state and private sector as a Teaching Assistant, LSA and ELSA, I've seen first hand the impact on children who are overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, and of those who lack confidence and low self-esteem. Personally, my own children, who are all neurodivergent, have had their own struggles over the years. It has given me a great understanding of where children and teens are at, where their worries lie and that children need alternative approaches to help them.

I retrained to become a coach which looks at aspects of mental wellbeing through fresh eyes. Children not only need to be heard and validated but they also need strategies and guidance, through practical activities, which coaching offers in an abundance.
Now, I support children and teens through their struggles, listening, guiding and giving them the tools to strive, thrive and move forward.

I'm fun and practical, and help kids to help themselves in a relaxed environment, to be honest about their feelings, understand their perspectives whilst using their naturally creative skills eg. art, games, lego, worksheets, to engage, to consider and reframe their difficulties.

My goal is to create a safe environment where children feel comfortable challenging their negative thoughts and are encouraged to bravely explore new ways of thinking or approaching situations.
Working together, children leave coaching sessions with positive outcomes to succeed, to feel confident and resilient.
